I've noticed, as I travel, the emergence of rather large vending machines devoted to things that you wouldn't expect to find in vending machines. Usually, these are high-ticket items like iPods and laptop batteries.
Here in Las Vegas, I've found one of the machines devoted ENTIRELY to Rosetta Stone language learning materials.
Now, I know that Vegas is an international Hub, but this seems like nonsense. Are that many people purchasing Rosetta Stone? Are they doing it minutes before traveling to a foreign destination?
On the other hand, from a marketing and visibility standpoint, it's clearly effective. So I'll just assume that the end goal was just that.
And here I am, turning that into a self-fulfilling declaration!
